It has tons of out-of-the-box capabilities that can help customer build out their business processes. When the out of the box configurations hits their limit that’s when developers are called in. So what are developers and why are they needed?
Salesforce developers extend the Salesforce platform with code when declarative solutions reach their limits. Programming on the platform may need to happen for many different reasons but generally, it’s because of limitations with configuration, a custom user interface is required, code will be a more scalable solution, and development will be a more efficient solution.
Salesforce developers can easily make over 100k per year but starting they can hit around 50k-80k depending on your location and experience.
